Capoeira Brasil group has been in Sydney for years. So what's the difference with us? Well we simply aim at passing our capoeira philosophy to everyone: enjoy the music, play with other groups, keep smiling & train hard to grow but most importantly have fun! Everyone should train capoeira because it brings you joy. That's our philosophy!

There is a new workshop coming up at the end of the month, so book this date in your calendar: Sunday 29th April!
The workshop will be with Mestre Luizinho Barravento from Xango Capoeira (gold coast). Everyone is welcome.
Price for the whole workshop is dirt cheap: $35 only.

Hey team,
For those of you who were not here on Friday, or need a reminder, we have been invited by grupo Capoeira Filhos da Bahia/Energia da Bahia at their school next Saturday at 1pm. Then we will all share some great fun and laughter.
Address: 119 Regent St, Chippendale (very close to central station).
There is also the workshop of grupo Capoeira Topazio happening during the whole week next week with the actual Batizado on Sunday 4th Sept at Redfern Town Hall. Check our facebook page for more info.

All students would like to congratulate contra mestre Ouriço for his Gold medal at the 2nd GSA Royler Gracie cup!
The event happened this Sunday (8 August) at Sydney Olympic Park’s Sports Hall, North side Dojo, Homebush.
C.M. won by 9 vs 3 against his 91kilos opponent. Once again, big congratulations formando, PARABENS!!!

Without a solid grasp on Brazilian Portuguese, the capoeirista is missing out on half of what is happening in the roda. The more fluent the student is in Portuguese, the more literate they can be in the roda.
